Hot Soup: NOBODY In MLB Is More Underrated Than Zac Gallen
Warning Red Sox Fans:
Tough season for Red Sox fans and you wonder where Chris Sale fits into the mix? He's legitimately one of the most dominant guys of my life in any sport and obviously we'd love to see him back. Sucks when you need a guy like that at his best to even have a chance to compete for the division. That's the reality of the AL East though as it's been much of my life.
But now I'm really burying the lede and that's Zac Gallen Being A Sweet Dude.
That said, it would obviously be sick as hell to chill with my guy Zac at Red Rocks. From throwing gas and embarrassing other professional athletes to relaxing on the lawn with a couple beers and feeling nature. That's the kinda combination I once thought was impossible. I explain routinely on the show = the exposure I've had to starting pitchers through Jake has been educational. I had no idea so many of them were these laid back, easy going dudes that would rather be fishing/golfing/hanging out etc. Just figured there would be more of a Hardo vibe generally across the population of MLB guys. Well this is me admitting I have been surprised time and again and that's a good thing. I like what I'm learning.
Listen to the Zac Gallen interview to get a feel for what I'm talking about. Everybody knows a guy like him. However not many double as a top of the rotation starting pitcher in Major League Baseball.
He gets into the mindset, philosophy, approach, strategy and all that shit pitchers work through to be good. Eye opening conversation for anyone that's every played the game past 12 years old
