I Got Hit By A Car
During the Frozen Four, I made the choice to bet against Rudy and the Denver Hockey Team. The bet was Michigan vs Denver. Loser has to drive a back around the entire island of Manhattan in full hockey equipment. I chose Michigan, Rudy chose Denver. Denver would go on to win the National Championship and I would go on to have to do the Tour De Manahattan. Was it easy? No. I think if i wasn't in full hockey equipment on a warm sunny day it probably would have be significantly easier. I also think if I had a citibike that didn't die after 5 minutes it would have been pretty simple.
A few things I learned: 1.) Bikers hate everyone who isn't a biker and they can be the biggest pricks in the world. Never received more death stares in my life. 2.) We need to re think how we do bike seats. My ass will never be the same. Feel like I just went the distance with Johnny Sins. 3.) If you get hit by a car, don't argue with the traffic cop who saw you get hit, especially if you look like an asshole riding a bike in full hockey equipment. If it wasn't for the nice dude who hit admitting fault, who knows what could have happened.
