Can I Kick It From Bodega In Boston
One of the most unique sneaker stores/streetwear shops in the country. A hidden gem hole in the wall, Bodega has no signage, no promotion, no nothing. From the outside it looks like a legitimate corner store. When you get in, you just need to know where the secret door is, and it opens up to a pristine show room of the nicest kicks and clothes from all the elite brands. Benny Feitelberg – the flyest of all the Feitelbergs – had the Bodega connect and so they invited us to come shoot another episode of Can I Kick It.
They have all the essential brands and products, but I really think the exclusive, elusive hidden nature of the store is what separates Bodega from other store fronts. It feels like you’re walking into a secret hideout. People want to buy something from Bodega more than your average standard shop because it feels like you’re in the know. There was no way I was walking out of there without making a purchase because I wanted to be able to say I shopped at Bodega.
As appealing as the $2,000 Yeezy Season 3 Big Bird jacket was, I walked out of there with the Westbrook 0.2s
Which are very dope. They are a little too high for me. I dont need the ankle going half way up my shin. But I like the camo look. Russell Westbrook has made a real nice name for himself off the court with his shoes. I like his casual wear shoes more than any current sneaker line of any other NBA players. The Westbrook 0s are one of my favorite shoes. CRIMINALLY underrated.
I have no idea why these didnt catch on with the sneaker community in terms of popularity, but I’m glad they didnt. I got my navy Westbrooks for 40 bucks and they’re one of the best pairs I wear.
I also hooked up everyone’s favorite 1 year old Shea Girl Shea with some Stan Smith’s and track suit.
