Frank Walks Episode 48: Chris Bassitt presented by BODYARMOR
Play Ball!!, Opening Day has arrived, and baseball season is here. During Spring Training, I had a chance to walk with Toronto Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt. The Blue Jays are heading into a crucial season, with several players, including Bassitt, heading into Free Agency. Getting off to a good start is essential.
Chris Bassitt is a 36-year-old pitcher who debuted with the Chicago White Sox in 2014. Debut was later traded to the Oakland Athletics, where he spent the next seven years, missing the 2017 season after Tommy John surgery. Bassitt spent the 2022 season with the Mets and was a critical part of the rotation that won 100 games. He has pitched with the Blue Jays since 2023.
