Surviving Barstool S4 Ep. 2 | No One is Safe With Survival at StakeWATCH NOW

Where The Fuck Is Teofimo Lopez?

That’s the question I’ve been asking since his upset loss to George Kambosos nearly a year ago.

AND THE ANSWER IS!…

He’s been in South NJ training for his fight Saturday night versus Pedro Campa (34-1-1, 23 KOs) at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

The undercard will be shown on ESPN+, and then Teo and one of Top Rank’s most promising prospects, junior middleweight Xander Zayas, will make up the Main Card over on ESPN for all to see… AND FOR FREE!!!

The Lopez vs. Campa fight is scheduled for only 10 rounds and is being contested at junior welterweight (140 pounds)… And in my humble opinion, this is the perfect opponent, perfect length, and also the perfect weight for Teo’s return to the ring.

25-year-old Lopez (17-1, 12 KOs) is a heavy favorite on the Barstool Sportsbook even though his 30-year-old opponent is certainly more seasoned.  But Campa has fought nowhere near the level of opponents that Lopez has faced.

Apparently, I didn’t learn my lesson the last time Teo was a heavy favorite (vs Kambosos) because I am already looking ahead to a possible showdown with Ryan Garcia now that the Tank Davis discussions have seemingly fizzled out.

If you listen to the interview I embedded above, you’ll see that the Kambosos loss has not affected Teo’s confidence in the least, and Lopez's enthusiasm has me itching to see him prove that loss was either a fluke OR at a weight class he can no longer fight in effectively… And hopefully, we can get back to the Teofimo Lopez of 2020, who looked like he was ready to take over the world.

Enjoy the fight and take a report.
