Tommy's Thursday Thoughts: Vol. 83 - Mind Blowing Fact About States

-The new “So how long have you been driving with Uber?” is asking “So how’s business been with all the shutdowns?” My Uber passenger rating is not very high.

-The fact that Juice WRLD passed away 9 months ago and still manages to be on New Music Friday every single week is simply astounding.

-I’ve said before that the only music playlist I have is called “Good.” If I like a song, it gets added. Well, it’s gotten filled up a little too much so I’ve had to create another playlist. This one is called …. “Really good.”

-Nothing gets Tommy’s juices flowing like a good movie trailer. The hype music and quick shots give me goosebumps.

-You may have noticed that I referred to myself in the third person in that last thought. I feel like “Tommy” is one of the better names to talk in third person with. Tommy makes himself laugh when he does that.

-A disproportionate number of states end in vowels. According to my calculations, vowels make up just 19% of the alphabet, but 64% of states have a vowel as their last letter. Now that’s what I call a FUN fact.

-I don’t think anyone actually knows the distinction between the words “further” and “farther.”

-When it’s raining and I have an umbrella but I walk past someone who doesn’t, I’ll raise it a little higher so they can be covered for a split second. That’s just the kind of guy I am.

-If you haven’t heard already, I have recently decided to master TikTok. It only took 11 months, but I finally understand these people. I get how their brains work now. Move over Lil Huddy, it’s TommyTok time. (It would be really bad timing if the app now gets shut down by the federal government).

Follow that journey

Thank you for your time.
