Arizona State Stormed the Field With One Second Still on the Clock and BYU Had To Attempt a Hail Mary With Students Lining the Sideline

If you like the NFL more than this, you're such an asshole. Look at this and tell me this isn't the greatest sport in the world.

The refs had to clear 10,000 Arizona State students off the field so BYU could attempt a Hail Mary with one second left that was then completed two yards short of the end zone with students just enough off the sideline to run the play before they stormed the field again. This is why we do it.

We were a couple yards away from one of the greatest plays in the history of sports. As I watched the ball sailing through the air, I just felt like it almost had to fall into a BYU receiver's arms in the end zone to deliver us one of the most perfect college football moments ever. Alas, we came up just short.

I'm not the biggest proponent of field stormings in general, but ridiculous shit like this makes it all worth it. College football is so stupid and amazing.
