We Have An Early Contender For Dunk Of The Year Coming Out Of The Indonesian Basketball League

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that was Montrell Williams of the Satya Wacana Salatiga. A 6'4" 180lb shooting guard hailing from  Rocky Mountain, North Carolina. He averaged 13/6/1 at Arkansas Tech, not enough to get drafted into the NBA, but more than enough to dominate the Indonesian Basketball League. 

My only complaint about the dunk itself was that I wish it was a little more violent. It looked like the guy was going to be posterized and he barely even got touched. 

I guess that's what happens when you're too athletic. Other than that, the dunk was incredible. A left handed jam from outside the circle with a defender closing in. He had to commit 100% otherwise it wouldn't have worked and he did. I committed to a contested dunk once and it resulted in a torn shoulder, so I have the ultimate respect for guys like Montrell. It reminds me of one of my favorite dunk clips of all time...

Satya Wacana Salatiga's next game is this Friday @ Satria Muda. I'm going to see if I can fire it up in the gambling cave. Apparently these guys can ball.
