Tobias Harris’ Balls Dropped Last Night

I don't have the exact numbers, but I’m pretty sure up until last night, Tobi was approximately 0/1 million when it comes to clutch shots down the stretch of a game. The pure frustration I have endured watching him brick thousands of go ahead three’s in the final 2 minutes of a game would put the most stable person in a mental institution. I don't want to harp on it, but I swear to God he normally turns into Carlton in crunch time.

But last night my man was an absolute baller. He was the exact thing that this team needs. A bucket getter in crunch time who will hit the big three and finish games. He was amazing.

I need him to build off this. Sometimes it just takes a confidence boost when it comes to this sort of thing. If he can replicate that late game performance on a regular basis it will solve a whole lot of the problems that this team has had so far this year. Especially since Ben for some reason only likes to pass in the second half.

Listen, Simmons was great last night his first quarter was elite, he played unbelievable defense all night and he was facilitating all over the court, but I am so sick of watching him get to the bucket and kick out for a shitty Al Horford three time and time again. He has one of the best (close range) turn around jumpers in the game that is almost unguardable and he goes through stretches where he just refuses to use it.

He was so good in that first quarter and took over the game when he realized that someone had to go get buckets, and then he just stopped shooting. He is so capable of having games where he goes off for 40 but I swear he just doesn't try to. I understand he can’t shoot, but he is so fucking good around the rim.

Whatever great come from behind win from the boys. Tobi was a dog, Ben's still a beast, and I still love Matisse more than life itself.
