Jake Voracek Just Toe Dragged The Entire City Of St. Louis Before Sniping Home The Overtime Winner

Pretty much everybody who has ever seen Jake Voracek play at least a shift of hockey before would assume that he was loading up to hit Provorov with an assist cutting to the net there. Especially Alex Pietrangelo who ducked down to block up the passing lane. But every once in a while (which at times can be infuriating), Jake Voracek has the ability to shock the world and actually take a shot when its presented to him. So he curls around Pietrangelo, flips those hips and snaps one right past Binnington for the OT dagger. You could have the entire city of St. Louis throwing a pokecheck at Voracek there and he'd drag them all. Dirty dirty dirty stuff from 93. Also great work from Provorov to take ROR all the way deep with him to the net to free up that space for Voracek to step into.
What a game, man. And not just from the Flyers. This matchup was so good for a January game between two teams that aren't even in the same conference. It was chippy. It was back and forth. We had a couple of lead changes. And then obviously it all gets capped off with this overtime winner. I know we're getting way ahead of ourselves here but a 7-game series between these two teams in late May-June would be a goddamn treat.

I know the Flyers have a home game against Montreal tomorrow night that they have to get back for, but I really hope they just wait until the morning to fly home. Go out and get in one tonight. You jackasses earned it.
