Metta World Peace Says Chris Brown Should Have Played In The NBA ... Come Again Now?

Now let’s just wait a goddamn second here. I’m a bit torn. On one hand Metta World Peace sounds crazy because well, at times he is crazy. On the other hand I don’t want to disagree with Metta World Peace because, well, see above. I’ve never related more to a reaction than Tyler Hansbrough here

Here’s the thing – Brown is actually a decent player. There’s no doubt about that. But do you know how goddamn hard it is to make the NBA? Think about all the college stars who don’t make the NBA. Guys that are legit All-Americans. That’s not to say Brown wouldn’t have been a college guy and a chance to make it, but that’s just a wild claim.

Here’s the real thing though. We got Metta talking about The Game and Young Buck. Apparently those two guys can catch anything and are bullies in the paint. When I googled Young Buck to see his jumping ability, the first thing that came up basketball related was him choking out Starlito in New York. Don’t think that will help. But it just reminded me how great rap was back in the early 2000s with those guys. Song still jams

I feel like we need a league for some of these rappers and actors to start playing in. Remember Master P actually did make it to the NBA. Probably should get him to run it and get guys like Romeo and these guys. I’d watch that. Slap it on when there’s nothing else really going on in sports.
