Frank Walks Episode 77: Matt Leinart by BODYARMOR
In 2005, USC won 34-31 in South Bend against Notre Dame. The game-winning play known as the Bush Push saw quarterback Matt Leinart pushed into the end zone by Reggie Bush. The play was a precursor of the Tush Push, as Leinart went on to win the Heisman Trophy. Despite Matt Leinart's heroics, USC fell short in its quest for a threepeat, losing the Rose Bowl against Texas with the title on the line. Two decades later, Matt Leinart is one of the hosts for Fox's Big Noon Kickoff. With the season winding down, I asked him who the Heisman favorites are, the playoff contenders, as he gave his view on the Tush Push; the answers may surprise you.
