Frank Walks Episode 71: PLL Special Trevor Baptiste presented by BODYARMOR
The PLL Championship Game is this Sunday at 12:30 pm with the New York Atlas taking on the Denver Outlaws in Harrison, NJ. It is the first championship game appearance for the Atlas, who have had the best record in the regular season over the last two seasons. One of the key players on the Atlas is Trevor Baptiste, who joined me on a walk in New York to discuss the upcoming championship game.
Trevor Baptiste was born and raised in New Jersey. After becoming an All-State star in Lacrosse and at Morristown-Beard, he went on to play at the University of Denver. Without question, Baptiste is the best face-off specialist in the PLL, winning nearly 2/3 of the time. He has been a member of the New York Atlas since the PLL was founded in 2019. During the walk, we discussed what it takes to win a face-off and what a crucial part of the game it is.
