Frank Walks Episode 47: Pete Weber presented by BODYARMOR
Pete Weber, a legend of the lanes, electrified audiences while becoming one of the greatest bowlers of all time. Known for his brash style, Weber is ranked fourth in career wins on the PBA Tour and is one of three bowlers to win more than 50 tournaments between the PBA and the PBA50 tour. He won the U.S. Open a record five times and is one of nine players to win Bowing's triple crown.
In February, I had a chance to walk with Pete Weber in his hometown, St. Louis, where he has a star, along with his father, on the Walk of Fame. Dick Weber was a champion bowler of the 1960s who once bowled on an airplane. During the walk, we talked about his legacy, what it is like to be a champion bowler, and his famous viral moment.
