Frank Walks Episode 33: Kane (Mayor Glenn Jacobs) Presented by BODYARMOR
I had the chance to walk with WWE Hall of Famer Kane last week in New York. Glenn Jacobs, who portrayed Kane, is the current mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He was in town for an appearance on Fox News and gave me the chance to reminisce about his Hall of Fame career in WWE.
A legend of Sports-Entertainment, Glenn Jacobs was saddled with two awful gimmicks, the fake Deisel and the demented dentist Dr. Yankem, before becoming Kane, "brother of the Undertaker." Kane would have memorable matchups against the Undertaker and was later a tag team parterner, holding numerous title belts in his 20-year WWE career. Kane has been praised as the best ever by Ric Flair and is highly respected among his peers.
We discussed his wrestling career, including the memorable Inferno Match against the Undertaker and the state of the WWE today.
