On the most recent installment of Eddie and myself traveling the south to find the best bachelor party spots, we took a little trip down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I've been to the ole MB before and I knew we had to do something anyone on their bachelor party would do: go mini golfing. The boys went to the course where they play the Mini Golf Masters and things got off to a rocky start. We had some tough weather to overcome and day one was pretty much a wash.
Day 2 started off with a little real golf, but Eddie and I couldn't stop thinking about the rainout session we had at Hawaiian Rumble. We had the itch to return to the Masters course so we cut our real golf round early to get back to the Rumble. Place was just an absolute delight.
We then went to the famous Pelican Ballpark, home of Kenny Powers in East Bound & Down. Now this is where things really started to heat up. I made arguably the greatest play of my athletic career by snagging a left hand foul ball off the ricochet while sitting down. Watch for yourself, it was a "where were you" moment. We then went to the main event: Myrtle Beach Bike Week. When I tell you I have never witnessed something like this, please believe me. It was an absolute scene filled with scary looking bikers (who were actually extremely nice). We filled up on Pirate Waters and went out to do some man on the street. We then woke up and took our talents to Charleston the next morning. Be on the lookout for that episode next week.
