Tank Cooks Chili Dogs
Thanks to Moore's Country Store for the Spice Packet
Ingredients:
- Moore's Country Store Spice Packet
- 1-2 lbs of Ground Beef
- 1/4 cup of chopped onions (optional) (I used an Onion Soup packet and minced onions as a substitute)
- 6 Cups of Water
Directions:
- Brown Ground Beef (seasoned with an accent, lemon pepper, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika). 1 lb is a very spicy chili (2 lbs is a milder chili)
- Add 6 cups of water for every pound of ground beef.
- Add spice packet and heat on high, stirring constantly with a flat-edge rubber spatula until it starts to bubble.
- Add chopped onions
- Reduce to medium heat and continue to stir regularly for 15 minutes.
- Reduce to low heat and cook for another 10-20 minutes, continuing to stir regularly.
- Add chili and cheese to hot dogs.
