Jenks Is Stepping In To Defend Frank The Tank At Rough N Rowdy - How We Got Here

Jenks is a guy I've known forever eight months and now we're at a point where he is stepping in to defend Frank the Tank's honor against the Abel Brothers at Rough N Rowdy tomorrow night. So who the hell is Jenks and how did we get to this place? Well like most good stories, it starts in the DMs. This is quite possibly the easiest and best way to get my attention: offer me damn near courtside seats to a Knicks game, my favorite basketball team. What dummy would say no to this offer?!

After we talked for a bit, we locked in a date and we were on our way. As a father of two, I don't get out much after hours, but sitting 2nd row at a Knicks game was a pretty great excuse, so Jenks and I had ourselves a fun night that started off at dinner across the street from the office. It was a nice meal of wings and beer and we got to know each other a bit. Jenks is a perfectly normal dude who just so happens to love Barstool. It's always fun talking to people that are passionate about what you do for a living, so the time flew by. We got to the game and it was as good as I could've hoped!

To my surprise, Big Cat was not only aware of Jenks, but was DMing with him once I had agreed to essentially go on a blind date with him. The idea was to get him on The Yak the day after as a surprise "post date" wrap up from his side.

Once everyone found out how much fun I had and what a normal dude Jenks was, they all decided to get a piece. Here's Brandon just a week later with Jenks and LeBron.

Frank the Tank was on board too.

Stu wasn't far behind.

Glenny Balls was next up.

And then Big Cat and Nick wanted to check out a Knicks playoff game, so we ended up being a group date with Jenks and myself.

Jenks had successfully infiltrated Barstool and become a friend of the program. Over the coming months, he got pretty close with Frank the Tank. It wasn't long before wherever you saw Frank, you probably saw Jenks.

It was nice to see Frank had a pal, but also someone helping him make great content. 

That police escort he got out of Yankee Stadium? Guess who was filming it?

And while some people can argue this is disingenuous, I can assure you it's not the case at all. Jenks is a good dude and he's very friendly. He simply became buddies with Frank, who unlike most of the other guys he hung out with, has a little more free time to pal around with. It was a great match and Jenks was genuinely helping show another side of Frank that wasn't just disgust with the Mets, Dolphins, or Devils. It was a win-win! 

And then Frank's arch rivals at Rough N Rowdy had an opponent drop out. Spencer Able is actually similar size as Jenks, although not as cut (Jenks is ripped) and Jenks decided to step up to the plate and defend Frank the Tank's name.

And now we've got a great storyline for our Independence Day card. Yet another win-win!
