How Blindspotting Became A TV Series: What's Poppin' With Rafael Casal
It was cool hearing how Blindspotting, which was molded by him and Daveed Diggs for a decade, became a TV show. Also how he goes about wearing that many hats considering he is the showrunner, director, writer, star and producer. This has a little bit for a lot of people. We talk about:
- The nuts and bolts of making a TV show and maintaining artistic integrity within the machine
- Blindspotting in general (which was a fantastic movie)
- The Bay Area and California.
The only question I wish we had time for was which he thinks is worse: BART or the MTA.
