Meat Sweats With Jordie: Carne Asada Tacos Are Simply Too Good To Just Be Devoured On Tuesdays
There are very few things more satisfying than sitting out at the smoker all night while you've got something like a brisket cooking for the next 12 or so hours. It is almost always worth the amount of sleep you end up sacrificing. But sometimes you don't have the luxury of staying up all night to cook a piece of meat. Sometimes you want a meal that kicks ass, but you don't have all day to focus on it.

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, I'd have to think long and hard about tacos. And I'd have to think a significantly less amount of time after having these tacos. It's the perfect combination of textures and flavors. You get the citrus from the marinade. You get the heat from the salsa. The char on the meat that makes that little caveman inside your brain happy because you know this was cooked over a fire. The softness of the tortilla wrapping it all together like a blanket made out of clouds. Moral of the story here is that this taco kicks some serious ass.
