Whit Says Getting A Statue Is A Bigger Honor Than Being Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame

On this week's Spittin' Chiclets, retired coach Dave King joined us for nice chat about his time with Team Canada, Calgary, Montreal, Columbus, Phoenix, Germany, and Russia. He was the first Canadian to coach in Russia's Super League (now known as the KHL) and had some wild stories about his time there.

We also discussed the Wild Card races, McDavid, Ovie, the Panthers/Flames trade effects, the Frozen Four, and which current players are statue-worthy. Here's Whit's take...

We also agreed that Sid has the best backhander in the game.

And Biz talked about a young Connor McDavid dusting him at a long-ago BioSteel camp.
