Tom Hanks Is About To Play An Absolute Weirdo And I Love It

The movie I was most excited to see was the new Batman, especially after Robbie Fox almost asphyxiated himself dressing up as the riddler to give a knee-jerk review ...

BUT, that was until I learned on Twisted History that Tom Hanks is about to be playing a role as a Dutch circus Carnie who ate himself to 300 lbs to avoid WWII, all while making ends meet with a not so elaborate bird business involving painting sparrows yellow and selling them as canaries. Until Tom Parker *Tom Hanks* meets and manages the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley.

The historically influential story of Elvis told by the most entertaining character in his life - a con artist, draft dodging, homicide committing manager ALONG WITH Elvis' catalog of songs definitely peaks my interest, but I don't think this movie will pull it off. Tom Hanks is a huge get, but he's not playing the most important role in the film. Casting in a bio-pic is difficult as shit and almost needs to be perfect especially when dealing with an iconic persona everyone recognizes. I would love for this movie to be along the lines of the Walk The Line, but those are lofty expectations.  I'm not sure how good the movie will be, but I know for a fact the movie will be full of SEXUAL DICK WIGGLING …

The movie comes out in theaters June 24th, but you don't have to wait until then to find out about Elvis' sleaze-ball manager, you can download the Twisted History podcast and find all about Elvis' twisted, fucked up life.
