I Don't Care What Anybody Says, I Think The Kraft Mac & Cheese Ice Cream Is Going To Be Good

On this week's Podfathers we discussed the culinary news that turned Twitter upside down since the most foolproof way to make your kids happy is to either give them ice cream or Kraft Mac & Cheese.

Now I understand that there are people out there instantly sickened by the mere thought of mac and cheese ice cream because it's different. In full disclosure, I threw on a wig and gave my live reaction to seeing this news:

However after thinking about it, I'm not sure how this could be bad. Ice cream is awesome. Whether you get a Choco Taco from an ice cream truck, some scoops from an ice cream store, or Ben & Jerrys from the freeze, you know you are going to be happy. Same goes for Kraft mac & cheese. The flavor scientists that turned that blue box into an icon using some elbow macaroni and some orange powder deserve to be in the Human Hall of Fame, so I think they can handle making a delicious ice cream.

Mashing two legitimately great things together should create a beautiful, delicious baby for us to eat. OK, that sounded weird but I stand by it. This isn't lamb and tuna fish we are talking about. These are staples of the American diet which oh by the way are both based in milk, which has to be a good thing, as does the ice cream company having a fancy name like Van Leeuwen. If cheesecake works, why can't mac & cheese ice cream?

Anybody too afraid to try it is just being a prude that probably only enjoys missionary sex while anybody that enjoys a little bit of adventure in their life is beating down the door to get this ice cream, which is apparently a lot of people considering this is what the site has looked like since they launched the ice cream at noon today.

I could go on and on why I think this will be #actuallygood. But instead I am going to see if the proof is in the pudding ice cream and post a 15 second review on my Instagram whenever I can get my hands on it since I am going to try to bring back a Snackin' Off type of show on IG if for no other reason than because Trig Da Gawd drew this picture of me and I love it.

Also on the pod:

- Large gives us a review of his vacation with the family to Vegas (shout out Penn's lovely M Resort)

- I give a review of the sunny beaches and glorious convenience stores of Delaware

- Chaps is battling some Texas wildlife at his new house and gone full Dad Mode by becoming a ride on mower guy

- We discuss kiddie fight clubs in Brooklyn and a mom naming her kids Metallica, Pantera, and Slayer before answering questions from the mailbag including how to find a trustworthy babysitter and the Pros/Cons of cutting the cord with cable.
