Is A Walk-Off Hole In One The Most Impressive And Unlikely Feat In All Of Sports?

We kicked around this topic on today's Fore Play and the general consensus was yes, a walk-off hole-in-one is the most impressive and unlikely feat in all of sports. I'm not even sure what compares honestly. It has to be one of the most unlikely things to happen but it happened with Sergio Garcia at the WGC match play over the weekend in Austin. He drained an ace right in Lee Westwood's face and the match was over. Finished. Done. Finito. And sure, it wasn't to win the tournament or anything but it still happened and that is incredibly impressive/unlikely. Like what are the chances we see another walk-off like Sergio's? Frankie put his foot down and declared that another walk-off ace won't ever happen again and I sorta agree with him. Seems highly unlikely.

One of the comparisons we talked about was a walk-off home run in Game 7 of the World Series, and while that is a wildly impressive feat, I don't know how unlikely that is. People hit home runs all the time so the chances of it happening during Game 7 of a World Series instantly skyrocket past a walk-off hole in one because hole in ones are so rare.

We also talked about our guy Joel Dahmen breaking through for his first win on the PGA Tour, whether or not Billy Horschel is a psycho, whether or not the PGA Championship should consider becoming a match play event and Kevin Na awkwardly teaching the #1 golfer in the world about match play. Enjoy!
