I Got Bad News For The Rest Of The NBA - The Bulls May Never Lose Another Game Now That We're Selling Fire Bulls Merch
The Bulls have won 5 of their last 6 and honestly look like a completely different organization. I don't want to make a huge deal about it but same time we're looking at the playoffs with confidence heading into March. Stop me if you saw it coming but you didn't. Nobody really did because you couldn't even guess the kind of impact Billy D would have over Boylen. We knew Jim sucked but heavens to fucking betsy did that guy moan.
Now we have a chance to turn the page fully and move to the next phases, which includes selling Bulls merch. Hand up I didn't know Patrick Williams before draft night and hand still up I think he's the most impressive rookie Bull since D Rose. Hand up I can be wrong. Hand up I'm seeing Red.
But then there's also the veteran presence that needs to be represented and for that we turn to Garrett Temple aka The Temple Of Doom. He's +15 per 100 possessions which is a fancy way of saying the Bulls are unstoppable when Garrett Temple is on the court. Maybe that's a reach. Maybe not. Either way he gets a shirt too and it's probably the best work Barstool Chicago has ever commissioned.
You guys are welcome to jump on the Bulls bandwagon. It officially left the station this month but I've been running it slowly so everyone can jump on. It's okay if you don't really give a fuck right now but I promise come April, there's going to a buzz in this town both literally and figuratively as we day drink a Saturday playoff game together.
That's what we're working towards. Meaningful, heartfelt postseason play and all the city-wide camaraderie that encompasses it. Last time we got a big taste of that was the Pau Gasol Bulls and that was basically 100 years ago in my brain. Michael Jordan was more recent to me even though that makes no sense. Point is we don't waste these kinds of opportunities so be prepared for a little journey this year. We're going to have some fun.
See Red.
