Ex-Somerville cop dishes on crooked Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone

Former Somerville cop Jon McCain joined the Kirk Minihane Show on Friday to tell a wild story about Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone, illicit opioid dealing, political cover-ups, nepotism, and crime.

According to the 26-year veteran of the Somerville Police Department, Curtatone turned a blind eye to the crimes and dangerous misconduct of his cousin and former SPD detective Alex Capobianco. When McCain tried to turn in Capobianco, Curtatone retaliated by railroading him out of the force.

"The citizens of Somerville have been buffaloed by this guy for the last 16 years," said McCain. "Joe Curtatone doesn't care about immigrants. Joe Curtatone doesn't care about black people or veterans or the homeless. Joe Curtatone cares about Joe Curtatone and putting money in his pockets from rich developers. That's all he cares about. Nothing else."

Curtatone made headlines earlier this year after he blasted the Boston Bruins for partnering with Barstool Sports, which he accused -- without evidence -- of supporting white supremacy, racism, sexism, and misogyny. He is currently suing Barstool Sports and Minihane because Minihane made him look like a total shit head in a prank phone call.
