30 Days Until The Bears Kickoff The NFL Season Versus The Packers
Red Line Radio is off and running as we officially kicked off our Bears coverage with today’s episode. We had Chris Emma from 670 The Score on to give us a boots on the ground type of perspective from the teams time in Bourbonnais.
He gets into:
– Montgomery, Davis, and Cohen’s splits at running back
– The scary lack of depth at tight end
– The dominance of the defense
– The struggles of Trubisky
– And more
After that rainy ass June it feels crazy that summer is on the back nine and that this monster home opener is only 30 days away. It’s a little bit of a weird feeling approaching this season because of the high expectations. So many people in sports media are picking the Bears to be the biggest disappointment and it’d make me sick if I actually gave a shit what those people think.
It’s not cockiness either. It’s just that if you watched this team last year you just know that they’re good. Where’s the hole on defense? So you think that we’re going to regress because we won’t be able to replicate that turnover margin? Take a fucking hike. The defense is still going to be great and the offense should look better with another year of Mitch/Nagy under the belt.
Polish up that cloth chin strap you motherfucker.
30 days.
Bear Down.
