Odell Beckham Jr. Was Casually Dropping YABOs Last Night In Anaheim

John Lennon once said “I’m an artist, and if you give me a tuba, I’ll bring you something out of it”. Well that’s pretty much Odell Beckham Jr. in this video. He’s an athlete, and if you give him a baseball bat, he’ll bring you something out of it. And that something is launch angle perfection to left center. Fuck reporting to Giants OTAs on Monday. Odell should have reported to someone’s Spring Training uninvited 2 months ago on some Willie Mays Hays shit. The Mets apparently have the wrong football player in Double-A while the Angels haven’t gotten this much play on social media ever and they only have the best baseball player in the universe on their team.

The most impressive part of all this isn’t the home run or the effortless swing. It’s the fact that Odell made those old, ugly ass Devil Rays jerseys look fashionable with a PaRappa The Rapper Supreme hat and ripped jeans. I’m personally looking to see if I can find a Greg Vaughn, Fred McGriff, or Jose Canseco Devil Rays throwback in my size (not bloody likely). I wouldn’t be surprised if the Rays bring these jerseys back and add Devil back to their name after tonight thanks to the Q rating bump they may get from one of the best athletes on the planet. There is truly nothing that man cannot do on a field, court, or dance floor.

Also credit to me that I didn’t mention the report that Julio Jones is reportedly going to skip OTAs because he’s unhappy with his contract.

Or that ESPN thought Vincent Jackson being happily retired was bigger headline news than Julio potentially skipping OTAs.

Yes, that’s the same ESPN that had breaking news every time the Giants received a trade offer for Odell Beckham. Don’t get me wrong, I think every NFL player should do whatever they need to do in order to get a better contract in a game of inches car crashes and non-guaranteed money. I just ask that all the blowhard fans and media members that lose their mind every time there is a rumor of Odell Beckham may skip an OTA, which he never has btw, were more consistent with their outrage. But again, I won’t mention any of that because then people will call me a triggered snowflake or some shit on the internet.

Anyway, maybe this video will get ODB some calls from Major League teams. That’s where the real money is anyway. If he can become a serviceable reliever, he can make REAL good money without having to be a human pinata or even great or very good at his sport. He clearly already has the arm for it.
