Mel Kiper Doesn't Think Josh Allen's Completion % Matters But Also Thinks Lamar Jackson's Completion % Really, Really Matters

Well that’s a little confusing, Mr. Kiper. Josh Allen’s (from Pardon My Take) completion % doesn’t matter at all. Stats are for losers! Well unless, of course, you’re talking about Lamar Jackson, in which case stats matter very matter, especially stats about completion %.

So why doesn’t Kiper care that Josh Allen has a lower completion % than Lamar Jackson? Easy- Josh Allen was accurate on his Pro Day. Duh.

Ah, ok, got it.

I mean, I don’t hate Kiper’s hustle. He’s made a living doing mock drafts and taking his best guesses on prospects and who knows what his success rate is, but it ain’t great. I wish he would just come out and be like “I like Josh Allen. He’s tall. (via DraftJoshAllen.com)” instead of making up random reasons he likes or doesn’t like someone. Kiper is the exact reason PMT can mock these pundits so easily, year after year after year.
