NBC Cut The Feed From The Sweden-Canada Women's Curling Finals Match Yesterday During the Game-Tying Throw and All Business Pete Was Livid

I found this on curling’s reddit today, don’t ask me why I was scavenging curling reddit but come to think of it, was this posted by All Business Pete?

I could see supercatrunner being Pete’s username. Anyways just incredible timing by NBC to pull the plug on this curling match between Sweden and Canada. From my understanding of the situation this was Sweden’s last throw of the match and once NBC’s feed went off the air they tied it and forced extra time.

I actually just showed this to Pete and asked if he saw and he goes, “Uhhhh….YEAH. It was 6:00 and there wasn’t basketball on in my house, there wasn’t hockey on, there wasn’t golf I was watching this and it cut away and I was pissed.” I asked him what he did and he goes, “I did what I had to do and pulled up the VPN from Belarus to watch the end.”

I have no idea what that means, but it sounds hilarious.

This isn’t the first time NBC has botched a closing seconds sporting event either. Remember the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals? The classic local news coming on in Austin Texas during overtime of Game 4.

Laugh out loud funny every time I watch it. Got to love NBC.
