The biggest news out of Washington yesterday was that hawkish zealot and warmonger John Bolton was appointed as the National Security Adviser ensuring that we will soon be at war with both North Korea and Iran and bringing about a fiery death for millions former Playboy model Karen McDougal claimed that she had a 10 month affair with President Trump where they had sex dozens of times.

This is not the first time a woman has alleged that she engaged in an extramarital affair with Trump. Earlier this year, adult actress Stormy Daniels alleged that she also had a sexual relationship with Trump where they engaged in unprotected sex — or in the parlance of millennials, “raw dogging” — prior to his assuming the Presidency. While it’s not surprising that an alpha-male jackhammer Adonis like Donald Trump would be able to bed beautiful women like McDougal and Daniels, it is surprising just how hypocritical the supposedly sex-positive tolerant left has been in continuing to slut shame the President.

It is obvious that many of the criticisms made of Trump are coming from purely a place of jealousy. By sleeping with women who have graced the crusted over centerfolds of ’97 Playboys and Hustlers found in the woods, eating McDonalds whenever he pleases, and daydreaming about beating up Joe Biden, Trump is living the dream life of 13-year-old boys across the country.

While there are many valid critiques that can be made of Trump — that he has still failed to build the wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for, that he has been unable to dismantle Obamacare as promised, and that Rosie O’Donnell still walks the streets a free woman — attacks regarding his choices of sexual partners show that liberals in this country still have a long ways to go in realizing the ideals of last century’s sexual revolution.

McDougal claimed in an interview with Anderson Cooper that Trump told her she was “beautiful like Ivanka,” a line that has gotten its fair share of media attention. Once again, Democrats show their rank hypocrisy. We live in a country where fathers are continuously being told they don’t encourage their daughters enough and that young women are often left in the shadows of their male siblings. Yet when Donald Trump continuously heaps praise upon Ivanka, boasting of her successes and putting her forward as a representative of the United States in sensitive foreign policy negotiations, he is maligned by the mainstream media. Perhaps they would prefer that he treated her like Tiffany and act like she doesn’t even exist.

When 24-year-old Bard graduates write Medium posts about how many Brooklyn podcast hosts and artisanal pickle makers they sleep with, we applaud them. Yet when Donald Trump has sex with a handful of models and pornographic actresses, we demean and slut shame him, as if Barack Obama or George W. Bush wouldn’t have jumped at the opportunity to sleep with Mia Malkova if given the chance. In this country, we have a proud history of political figures embracing their sexuality whole-heartedly. From Benjamin Franklin spending his nights with harems of prostitutes, to Lyndon Baines Johnson whipping out his giant hog at every opportunity, cheering on our statesmen as they attempt to bust a nut is as American as apple pie. Isn’t it only fair President Trump get that same chance?
