In Honor Of The News That Bill Burr Will Be Announcing Rough N Rowdy 3, Lets Rewatch Him Announce The 2004 Racial Draft On Chappelle's Show

I’ll admit that I don’t need much of a reason to post some classic Chappelle’s Show stuff on the blog. And I think the announcement that Bill Burr will be calling Rough N Rowdy 3 definitely qualifies.

That Racial Draft skit is comedic perfection and everyone should have it on their short list of best Chappelle’s show skit alongside Rick James, Prince, Clayton Bigsby, and a handful of others. Make no mistake about it, the world changed on that New York City stage. Some races shot up the racial power rankings while others plummeted. The phrase “Konichiwa bitches” was born and the phrase “Fo’ Shizzle” would never be the same again. And there were also like 100 jokes that if they were made on a show today, would probably cause protests outside of Comedy Central headquarters.

I imagine that same type of electricity will be coming out of the booth on April 13th when Burr, El Pres, and Big Cat announce a bunch of angry rednecks beating the fuck out of each other. We’ve seen what Dave and Dan can do together whether its singing the national anthem
