Walmart Customers, Hell Bent On Buying Meat, Casually Walk Through A Swarm Of Bats

First of all, anyone who hates on Walmart can kick rocks. They take a lot of trash and it’s completely undeserved. I used to LOVE going there when I was kid, I still do. I’d start over in electronics and work my way back towards home and garden making pit stops along the way. I’d stop in hunting to check out the guns I’d hear about on my Tupac CD. Shoot some hoops in athletics. Then go flip through the poster book and pretend to like the pictures of Pam Anderson. I even think I had this one on my wall.

Simpler times. Keep in mind that this was before Walmart was known for their ratchet customers. Which people make out to be way worse than it actually is.

Having said that, this video isn’t doing much for the brand. I know nothing about bats, but I do know that if they’re flying around the meat department of a Walmart, something’s wrong. They probably have rabies and if you’re hanging around them you probably have a condition. I kept waiting for the freak out and it never came. It was like they either didn’t notice or didn’t care. No one left the area. No one involuntarily flailed their arms like Chris Farley being attacked by bees.

They just carried on with their business. It’s as if they operating at a different speed. Like, how good could the discount have been? Half off? Seventy-fiver percent? Hopefully it was huge because otherwise the risk doesn’t seem worth the reward.
