Inverse- In just a few days, audiences around the world will get to marvel at Star Wars: The Last Jedi. But astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) will get to watch the latest Star Wars flick literally in low Earth Orbit, a NASA official confirms to Inverse.

Spaceflight reporter Robin Seemangal broke the news earlier today on Twitter.

“I received confirmation from Disney and NASA sources that the crew aboard the International Space Station will be screening Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” he wrote.

Live look at the astronauts aboard the International Space Station:

This is so awesome. I’m sure so many astronauts were actually inspired to go down that road because of Star Wars, and because of the the mythology and magic they put behind space. I get how silly that may sound, because Star Wars features possibly the most unrealistic version of space in the history of media, but it’s really just a spark that’ll light the fire that is the interest in something beyond that world. Being in space while EVERYTHING is going down on Earth is hard enough. Imagine committing to years in space before you know Star Wars was coming back?! Some astronauts definitely did that and pulled one of these faces when Disney purchased Lucasfilm…

“Hey uhhh, I’m sick. I can’t do space today…or any day. I need to go back to Earth by December 14th at 7pm. Why then? Oh, no reason in particular.”

Enjoy The Last Jedi, space people. Keep doin’ space stuff for the U-S of A!
