Body Cam Footage Comes Out Of Old Lady Being Dragged Out Of The Alabama Game For Smoking A Cigarette

WVTM 13  -Digital Tuscaloosa police have released an officer’s bodycam video showing a woman refusing to comply with his orders to put her cigarette out during a game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Remember this old lady from a few weeks ago?  The star of one of the best videos of the year?

Just straight up RIPPING a cig right in a cop’s face.  Maam can you please put that out, there’s no smoking in here?

An iconic moment.

Well the body cam footage has just been released, to show you the whole magical encounter from a different perspective.  Mainly, the shock and awe at both this old bag’s audacity, and the forceful dragging of a brittle old bag of bones.  Specially this woman whose face kind of sums it all up.

Bizarre all around.

I think the best part may be her excuse – she was just handing it to the officer to put it out!

According to an interview with WVUA, Brush says this is what thousands of people who have viewed the video are misconstruing what actually happened. She claims she was simply handing the cigarette to the officer to put it out.

The officer then grabs one of Brush’s wrists and drags her out of her seat.

Brush says she’s still suffering in more ways than one from this ordeal, WVUA reports. [WKRG]
