Haley From 'Modern Family' Is Dating Wells From 'The Bachelorette' And I Am Stunned

People- Sarah Hyland is basking in that new relationship glow. The Modern Family actress, 26, showed off her boyfriend Wells Adams‘ initial on a necklace she was proudly wearing in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “Call it what you want #notbecauseheownsme,” Hyland wrote in the caption, which referred to Taylor Swift‘s newly released love song, “Call It What You Want,” about the singer’s British boyfriend and actor, Joe Alwyn. On Monday, Hyland seemingly confirmed her relationship with the former The Bachelorette contestant, 33, in an Instagram post featuring the two hugging in a black and white photograph.

I wanna start this blog by saying that I like Wells. I like him a lot. He was my dark horse pick to with The Bachelorette during JoJo’s season. He seems like a genuinely cool dude. He’s not one of those guys they bring on the show to be a meat head or a jock or an all-around asshole. He was a normal dude with a pretty normal job who didn’t get involved in any drama. He was also featured on Bachelor In Paradise as the bartender. He was a serviceable replacement for Jorge. He seems self aware about the Bachelor universe and likes to poke fun at how ridiculous it is. Again, I am a fan of Wells Adams.

But with all that said, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AROUND HERE?!?! Sarah Hyland from Modern Family should NOT be dating Wells from The Bachelorette. Fact. I was stunned when Ria casually mentioned it to me just now. I think I’m still in shock. TV stars shouldn’t date reality TV people. That just shouldn’t be allowed. It’s two different universes. Sarah Hyland is a very very very famous person. Modern Family is one of the most popular shows of all time. I hate to say it, but Sarah is slumming it with Wells. Sarah Hyland should be dating one of the Jonas brothers or Zac Efron, not the guy who almost died doing a firefighter challenge for a date card. And the relationship looks semi-serious. They did a goddamn couples costume. How did they even meet? I thought Bachelor contestants spent all their time going on podcasts hosted by other Bachelor contestants. Stunning. To be clear, I’m not rooting against their relationship. I’m saying their relationship shouldn’t exist at all.
