Vance Joseph is Officially a Crazy Person, Says Brock Osweiler Has EARNED One More Week To Prove He's The Guy in Denver

That’s honestly one of the more insane things ever spoken in human history. To watch Brock’s game against the Eagles and think he’s earned another shot at being the starting quarterback of a football team is pure lunacy. We say a lot of exaggerated statements at this company, but that is not one of them.

That quote coming out of an NFL quarterback’s mouth is incredible. The fact that Vance Joseph heard that, saw the tape, and decided yeah we’re going with Brock on Sunday Night Football against the Patriots is incomprehensible. It’s like in the movie Ted when he keeps trying to get fired at the supermarket when he tells his boss he fucked his girlfriend with a parsnip and then sold it to a family of four. Ted got promoted. That’s basically what’s happening right now in Denver.

Now we get the Brocketship one more time under the bright lights. Fasten your seat belts boys and girls. Oh by the way, he’s still making $17 million this year from his original contract in Houston where the first two years were fully guaranteed. You can also tack on another $775,000 that he’s getting from Denver. This fucking guy man.

P.S. Oh and here is your daily reminder that two years ago Brock beat Brady on SNF to end their perfect season. That was back when Peyton was dealing with a foot injury and there were talks Brock would win the job and never let it go after that game. That was a real life thought.

“Yes, Manning was diagnosed with a torn plantar fascia, and yes, that has something to do with his truly awful season to date. But he’s also 39 and at some point, the Broncos have to prepare for life after Peyton. Osweiler looks very much to be that guy.” -NFL.com’s Ryan Wilson
