Source - A Florida couple who ordered plastic storage bins from Amazon got an unwanted bonus — 65 pounds of marijuana mysteriously stashed inside, according to a report.

The couple, who asked not to be identified, hashed out their story to WFTV, saying the 27-gallon bins didn’t feel quite right when they arrived.

When she and her fiancé opened the bins, they were overcome with an overpowering smell. “When the first officer got here, she was in disbelief,” the customer said about the 93.5-pound haul, which was shipped via UPS from Massachusetts by Amazon’s Warehouse Deals.

After exchanging emails with Amazon for more than a month, they finally received a $150 gift card along with the message: “I am unable to do anything else at this time.” They said they wanted an apology and an explanation about how the marijuana ended up in their bins. “There was no concern for a customer’s safety. I mean, this could have turned into a worst-case scenario,” she said. Orlando police said no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.

Growing pains, amiright? One second you’re a small business specializing in book wholesales, the next you’re shipping bundles of marijuana to unsuspecting customers across the U.S.. Happens to everyone. At least they’re headed in the right direction. A few weeks ago they sent half a million dollars’ worth of pills to a lady who tried to order a yoga mat. It makes you wonder how many packages fly under the radar. They ship 1.6 million of them daily. No way those are the only two filled with drugs. They just ended up with the only two idiots who would report it. Although to be honest I’d probably do the exact same thing. Way too stressful being responsible for that amount of drugs. I’d be afraid it was a set up. I have enough anxiety as it is, I don’t need to be looking over my shoulder every time I pass someone on the street. If it was cash, it’d be another story.

It wouldn’t be that surprising if Amazon was shipping the drugs themselves. Even if they got caught nothing would happen, they’re too big to fail. They have the man power, the cash, the logistical ability. All they need is the know-how and a self-starter entrepreneur at the helm. Someone like Jeff Bezos. Makes sense. He’s probably bored with his day job and wanted to spice things up. Personally, I’d suggest a legal activity, but to each his own. Keep an eye on those packages, folks.
