I Am Very Not Here For De'Aaron Fox's In-N-Out Slander

Sorry not sorry? What are you sorry not sorry for, Mr. De’Aaron Fox? It’s not your fault you have a wacky name, we forgive you. Oh, that’s not it? Well, what is it?

Booooo, De’A-Aron Fox. Booooooooooo. As they say, we mock what we don’t understand.

Look, this is how I see it- I’m an East Coast guy. I never even had In-N-Out til I went to Vegas for the 3rd time. I had heard the hype. And the thing is- I’m not a hype guy. Usually when something is hyped up a ton, when something is the internet darling, I end up thinking it’s overrated or not even that good. Nothing ever lives up to the internet hype. Everything is a disappointment. But not In-N-Out. I can happily say I thoroughly enjoyed my 3×3 from In-N-Out and it not only met, but exceeded my expectations. I thought the tries were good (I didn’t get Animal Style) and my shake was delicious.

I’m pretty sure what happens is this young hooligans come to town and the think hating In-N-Out is the new loving In-N-Out. Ya gotta be edgy, ya gotta be different. It just goes around in circles. First it’s the new, cool place to eat, then too many people start talking about it, so it becomes the lame place to eat. There’s just no way in heck someone can take a bite of a In-N-Out burger and be like “that’s trash food”. It’s impossible, because that’s not how taste buds work.

But the craziest of all is he says WENDY’S is better! Wendy’s! Look, I love me some Wendy’s drunk at 2am. Who doesn’t!? But to say it’s straight up better is blasphemy. Burger to burger, pound for pound, it can’t hang. It’ll throw a jab here, have a good bite there, but let’s be real- Wendy’s is where you go when you go “shit, I haven’t been to Wendy’s in a while”. But it’s not a destination burger. It doesn’t get the mouth watering and the taste buds cumming. That’s what In-N-Out does, always has done, and always will do.
