Game of Thrones Is Shooting Multiple Series Finale Endings To Throw Off Hackers and Leakers and Haters

The InsiderHBO has a big plan in place for throwing off would-be leakers intent on revealing the anticipated ending of “Game of Thrones.” As the series heads into production for its eighth and final season, HBO programming president Casey Bloys has now said they plan on filming more than one ending.

“I know ‘Game of Thrones,’ the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens,” Bloys said at Moravian College in Pennsylvania, as reported by The Morning Call. “You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

“The internet is dark and full of spoilers” – 65% of people with a Twitter account, so don’t think you’re being original when you send that out. But it’s true – these leakers and hackers drive me nuts. They’re pure evil.  They’re the real life physical embodiment of the Night King throwing the javelin through the dragon’s face.   Intent on destroying one of the few things we still hold sacred – Game of Thrones Sundays.  And there are a lot of people out there who love it, who eat it up, who watch the leaks instantly. People who just can’t wait and need instant gratification (these god damn millennials!) no matter how low quality the torrent is.  Well that’s not me and I hope it’s not you. Some of us still appreciate appointment television.  Letting the excitement build and build for 6 days to the point where you’re about to burst by the time you shut the lights off, throw your phone across the room and flip to HBO.   So even if it doesn’t stop the leakers, even if it just slows them down slightly, anything GOT can do to throw them off the scent of spoiling the series finale is absolutely good with me.

And for the record, I don’t want to see any of the alternate endings.  I want to see what the show gives me and that’s it.  If I was smart enough to write and produce and deliver one of the best TV shows of all time I would.  Until then you tell me what I want.
