Well this is a teachable moment for me about the dangers of wildly speculating on unfounded celebrity gossip.
I see the goddess Olivia Munn post a photo of herself and Nick Swardson (who’s trolled Aaron Rodgers in the past) wearing a Viking hat and I connect dots that are in fact, not connected. My bad. I’ve written a million blogs and I’ve rocked them all. But do enough of them and eventually the odds will catch up with you and you’ll get one wrong. And when you work for the site that’s taken over the world, you can’t afford to get one wrong. Even if you were just playing it for a cheap laugh in a simple celebrity blog post, words have power and you’re like a 3-year-old who got his hands on dad’s gun. There are consequences.
To repeat: Olivia Munn and Nick Swardson are in fact, strictly friends, without any benefits in the sense that we use that word to describe platonic relationships. Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa.
In conclusion, if anyone wants to link me romantically to any beautiful actress, be my guest. I will not object. But Nick Swardson has spoken. And Olivia Munn posted a corrected IG. So I was mistaken.
