White House Press Secretary Says Jemele Hill's Comments Are "Fireable Offense"

This whole Jemele Hill saga has transformed into such a perfect encapsulation of how stupid everything has become. One person thinks the President sucks, tweets out that she thinks the President sucks, and boom: everyone from every side is outraged and screaming for everyone else to lose their jobs. It’s insane. People want Jemele Hill fired. People want ESPN head John Skipper fired. People are equating the White House to Nazi fucking Germany because Sarah Huckabee Sanders said she thinks Hill’s comments were a fireable offense. It’s NUTS.

I’m so sick of outrage culture. It stinks. Look you fucking pussies — Jemele Hill doesn’t like Donald Trump. Deal with it. A LOT of people don’t like Donald Trump. A LOT of people didn’t like Obama. A LOT of people didn’t like Bush. And you know what? A LOT of people fucking LOVE Donald Trump. We’re a divided country and have been throughout our entire lifetimes; at any given time, half the country isn’t going to like the President. Sack up and deal with it.

Was it the savviest career move to tweet out super aggressive political takes to your big ass following that you gained via your employer, ESPN, who’s got a history of firing people for political takes? Nope, I do not believe it was. But any internet warrior out there screaming for her job is just as soft as the outrage mongers screaming back.

Everyone settle down. People are going to have different opinions than you. They always have, they always will. Let’s not freak out and call for everybody’s job. Take a chill pill. Embrace debate. Sack up and respond intellectually instead of screaming and crying like babies. Wouldn’t that be nice.
