We've Got Our First Look At Josh Brolin As 'Cable' In Deadpool 2

Last week we got our first look at Zazie Beetz as Domino, a classic character linked to Deadpool and Cable via X-Force comics, and she got a pretty major, pretty awesome redesign.

The reveal from Ryan Reynolds on Twitter with this picture and the caption “Some people just know how to work a red carpet” was really cool, and I thought it was great for him to get ahead of potential leaked photos from the set with an awesome pro shot. Today he did the same with Josh Brolin as Cable, and made nerds all over the world pass out.

That’s pretty much a DEAD-ON accurate version of the badass mofo from the comics.

You couldn’t have picked a better casting choice than Josh Brolin. He’s 49 years old and effortlessly plays the most intimidating, uncompromising people in cinema. Deadpool 2 is set to come out next year, and I for one can’t wait. The first was a hilarious self contained superhero story without a beam of energy shooting into the sky, and the second will be able to build upon that and hopefully develop a bit of a universe for this character to roam around in. With Brolin as the main villain, maybe we’ll even get some sick Goonies jokes. We may be able to get an exclusive scoop on the screenplay as well, because JT Miller owes us one.
