David Feherty's Son Dies At The Age Of 29 From An Overdose

AWFUL news coming out this morning. Just awful. David Feherty announced on Twitter that his son died of an overdose on his birthday at the incredibly young age of 29. Horrible. What a goddamn punch to the gut. Feherty has been in this office and he could not have been nicer or more generous with his time. He’s one of the most (if not the most) beloved figures in golf. Feherty has had his own well-documented struggle with addiction so that has to make this situation that much worse. He’s been through so so so much. Feherty has been so open about his past and has helped so many others by doing that. I can’t even imagine the pain he and his family are going through right now. Thoughts go out to David and his entire family.
