This Close-Up Video Of A Tornado In Iowa Is Pretty Nuts

This is gonna sound crazy but one of top the things I miss about Iowa is the powerful storms and tornadoes. I miss them a lot actually. There’s nothing quite like a strong thunderstorm in the Midwest. You just don’t get that shit here in New York. Sure you get thunderstorms and heavy rains. That’s all fine and good. But I have yet to experience a batten-down-the-hatches, go-to-your-fucking-basement-right-this-second storm in NYC. I enjoy the storms themselves but I really enjoy the chaos it sets off. People freaking the fuck out. Running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I was disappointed that no big storms rolled through when I was back in Iowa a couple weeks ago. Yeah it was nice to see my friends and family and blah bah blah but I REALLY wanted a tornado warning to get things popping. Alas. Maybe next time.
