Source –   Andrew Garfield has revealed that he is open to to having a same-sex relationship. ‘I am a gay man right now just without the physical act – that’s all’, he said, as reported by the Gay Times on Monday. He added: ‘Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden, but right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful as well.’  The Spiderman star – who famously dated co-star Emma Stone – went on to admit: ‘As far as I know, I am not a gay man.’

‘I adore it, but a big concern was what right do I have to play this wonderful gay role?’ he said, adding he finally relented when the play’s writer, Tony Kushner, personally asked him to take it on. To prepare for the role, Andrew says he and his friends would have marathon sessions watching RuPaul’s Drag Race.

‘My only time off during rehearsals – every Sunday I would have eight friends over and we would just watch Ru,’ he added.  Andrew’s most high profile relationship to date was with Emma Stone, 28, who he dated on and off between 2011 and 2015.

*Plays a gay character once.* Fuck outta here. I know being gay is “cool” (lol) but you can’t say you’re gay and not hook up with guys. That’s just not how it works, Eduardo Saverin. You’ve got to put in your time before you get the pin. Touch a wiener, download Grindr, offer to kiss your buddy, do something. You can’t appropriate our lifestyle without practicing it’s most integral part. That being said, maybe he’s just a late bloomer:

‘Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden, but right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful as well.’

It sounds like he’s mid-awakening, which is fine. Some of us have the realization as twelve year olds watching  Baywatch others have it as thirty three year olds “playing” a gay character on Broadway. Nothing wrong with that. I’m not in the business of questioning or outing people but I will say, the more he talks the more it becomes apparent. “Explore that part of the garden?” He’s talking about his butt hole, right? He has to be.

‘To prepare for the role, Andrew says he and his friends would have marathon sessions watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. My only time off during rehearsals – every Sunday I would have eight friends over and we would just watch Ru’

Watching Ru with your friends? Ru! Andrew you big queen. I know gay guys who don’t even abbreviate it. And how would watching Drag Race prepare you to play an AID’s infected lover? Maybe watch Dallas Buyers Club or Philadelphia, not Alaska Thunderfuck. Sounds more like a guilty pleasure than work research. And I want to know who these eight friends are. I want names, stats and Instagram handles. I find it hard to believe your eight Drag Race bro’s are on the hetero side of the Kinsey scale. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Whatever the case, I’m happy for Andrew. If he wants you want to hang around and do “gay things” all day, go for it. I’m just saying, where there’s smoke, theres usually fire.
