The Highlight Reel Of Each NBA Team's Best Play Of The Season Is Basketball Porn

So the good folks on the NBA Reddit page put this together. Votes were calculated on each team’s NBA subreddit and this video is the lovely product of it all. A few thoughts.

– At first I thought Clippers choosing Paul Pierce’s last shot in Boston was lame as fuck. Then I realized it was the Celtics highlight and I have absolutely no problem with that even though the Celtics had a pretty exciting season. I wish the Knicks had a guy that constantly stuck the dagger in opponents like Paul Pierce did. You knew it was coming and it was usually in slow-mo. But that dude came through so many times. Coldblooded killer. 29 NBA fanbases are happy he is gone for a reason.

– The Warriors play happened months ago and my dumb brain still can’t process it. And the scary shit is they are going to only get better. Thankfully for me, the Knicks should finally finish their rebuilding plan around the time every Warrior star retires in ten years or so.

– Speaking of Paul Pierce and the Warriors, Draymond Green going after Pierce for his retirement tour all of 41 seconds into their game was definitely the 3rd best highlight of the Warriors season, slightly behind Kevin Durant’s buzzer beater in Game 3.

– The Knicks getting their guts ripped out on back-to-back buzzer beaters and three overall in that video was a pretty accurate way to describe the way this season went. It’s not easy being a #SuperTeam sometimes.

– I also don’t think Courtney Lee’s shot should have been the Knicks highlight. Granted I randomly HATE the Atlanta Hawks, probably because of Dwight Howard and Dennis Schröder’s stupid haircut and the ö in his name. But this should be the Knicks highlight of the year. I swear I am not being bias.

Actually mayyyybe this should be the highlight.

What a beast. What a stud. What a player. What a stare down.

kppp

I’m gonna be so sad when he rightfully leaves this shitty franchise.

– I don’t care about what each basket meant. It’s not fair the Mavs got double highlights. My favorite Mavs highlight from this season was this

Which led to this

But let me make it clear, this has nothing to do with Dirk Nowitzki. I loooooove Dirk. Him beating the Heat ranks WAY too high in my personal power rankings for best moments as an NBA fan. That’s partially a product of hating the Heat for decades and partially because being a Knicks fan the last decade-plus has been such a fucking nightmare.

– I guess I must have been busy the day after the Anthony Davis 360 alley-oop happened because I don’t remember it at all. Holy shit that was awesome.

– I still can’t believe the Celtics lost a game like this. That is the most Knicks play I’ve ever seen a non-Knicks team do in my life.

– While I looooooove Marc Gasol ending the video with the Conor McGregor walk…

the highlight of the season and maybe of life was Dion Waiters’ shot, and more importantly reaction, against the Warriors.

What a fucking regular season it was. The playoffs sucked but the Finals were fun as hell despite being only five games. And yesterday’s parade + Draymon vs. LeBron Instagram brouhaha was awesome. Now it is time for when the NBA is maybe its most entertaining. The offseason AKA #PhotoshopSZN.
