PK Subban Doesn't Give A Friggin' Heck If You Like His Goal Celebrations Or Not

At this point there are really only two types of people in this world. There are those who love PK Subban. And then there are racists. I guess there are also people who don’t care about hockey and really don’t feel one way or the other about PK. But as far as hockey watching individuals living on Planet Earth in the year 2017, you either love PK Subban or you’re just an asshole. There’s no other way to put it. If you can’t love and appreciate the energy and emotion he brings to the game, then what are you watching for anyway?

The thing right now is I feel like there really aren’t that many people out there who actually have an issue with PK and specifically his goal celebrations. It’s Mike Milbury and maybe like 3 or 4 closet nazis on Twitter. Other than that, you’d be hard pressed to find somebody who doesn’t find Subban to be a breath of fresh air in regards to personality in professional sports. My point being that I think ESPN is trying to make a bigger story out of something that really isn’t there right now. You turn PK Subban into hockey’s version of Cam Newton and there’s your easy storyline for the rest of the playoffs. Unless this is all directly aimed toward Mike Milbury. In which case I’m all on board.

Either way. PK Subban plays the game with energy, he plays with heart, he plays with passion. He always does incredible work off the ice for the communities surrounding him. He is a very marketable figure when it comes to growing the sport’s popularity. So if you think that his goal celebrations are the reason why you can hate a guy like that, maybe there’s a little more going on under the surface.
