There Is Zero Chance Gisele Knows If Tom Brady Had A Concussion Or Not

CBS – In an interview on CBS This Morning Wednesday, Charlie Rose asked Bündchen about comments Brady made on SiriusXM NFL Radio back in February that suggested she would have him retire if she had things her way. “Are you trying to get him to retire?” Rose asked. “You know, I just have to say as a wife, I’m a little bit, its, as you know, it’s not the most like, let’s say, un-aggressive sport, right?” Bündchen told Rose. “Football, like he had a concussion last year, I mean he has concussions pretty much every–you know, we don’t talk about it but he does have concussions. I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for your body to go through like, through that kind of aggression like, all the time–that cannot be healthy for you, right? I mean I’m planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we’re like 100, I hope.” Rose did not ask any follow-up questions about those alleged concussions.

So this is a big story this morning.  Gisele just casually mentioning that Tom Brady has a zillion concussions a year.   Jerry already blogged it, but I had to give my take.   There is ZERO and I mean ZERO chance Gisele knows if Tom had a concussion.   He probably came home from a game said he had a head ache, didn’t want to take care of the kids and Gisele was nagging him and he’s like “cut me some slack I had like 6 concussions today”  Like you can’t just declare a concussion.  It’s like Michael Scott declaring Bankruptcy in the Office by just screaming it out loud.   That’s not how it works.  You need to be medically checked out.   Nobody looked at Brady because he didn’t have to be looked at.  The guy took some hard hits. That’s the NFL.  This is just a classic case of things getting lost in language and culture differences.

PS – How about Charlie Rose not asking any follow up questions about the concussion thing?  I thought Charlie Rose was supposed to be a good interviewer?  Apparently not.
