Noah Syndergaard Has A Torn Lat...No Timeframe For His Return

Welp. 10 day DL + No Timeframe for return = season over in Mets Speak. Matz had lat issues and I believe he was somewhere in the 8 week range. He’s never been the same. Kershaw missed 6 weeks, and he came back fine. He missed from March 22 to early May and went on to 26 starts and 1.78 ERA. But hes also the greatest pitcher of a generation. Even if Noah misses something like 2 months, the thought of him coming back and being the Noah we need him to be is slim.

This team had basically 2 guys that they absolutely, 100% needed. Noah and Yo. And they are both hurt with injuries that are the lingering, nagging type. If it wasnt for the 2nd Wild Card, this team would 1 billion percent be Cunceled. But because you need like 78 wins to make that playoff game, its on hold for the moment. Wait and see.
